AT&T’s  U-VERSE

Going Strong

 Recently Jim & I went a met with the new Premise Installers at Sterling & 10 mile locations, and I must admit they impressed me with their attitude and I was encouraged to see the willingness to succeed in their new jobs as well as the genuine interest they had in the Union. I welcome all of the new Technicians into the local and look forward to seeing them and talking to them more in the future, hopefully at a membership meeting or perhaps the Hot Dog Luncheons or some other Social function at the Local. I encourage all the members of our Local to extend a handshake and welcome  these new Technicians into Local 4008 if they happen to see them at a X-Box or in the garage or C.O.

           The U-verse product is doing very well in Macomb County so far and is apparently going  in with few problems.  The last discussion I had with Leo Freckelton the Area Manager for the U-verse here in Macomb we are averaging about 50-60 installs a day and that includes the weekends.   I do believe that this new product is what the Company and us as Employees need to stay competitive in this ever changing Market Place.  I hope that all of us as Employee’s and Union Members take the opportunity to see the future for yourselves and your peers in this company as we together actively pursue making AT&T the best and hopefully only choice for the Consumers of Michigan.
